ah yes, tumblr is “banning porn”, you know, “““porn”““, like that one time they had their bots tag basically all lesbian and trans blogs as ““““““porn”““““. i truly trust the clowns who run this website to not literally fuck this up in the most heinous way imaginable while desperately begging for apple to restore their shitty app
So instead of banning all legal adult content on tumblr, why not just go after the porn bots? Like this is punishing people who haven’t even done anything wrong for tumblr inability to take care of bots.
Adults post adult content on here, legally? With appropriate tagging systems. People make money off of NSFW content, and enjoy tagged NSFW, and now you’re telling me that tumblr is getting rid of that because they couldn’t take care of bots? and i’m talking about LEGAL nsfw content that’s tagged appropriately. Like we shouldn’t be punishing them for something that tumblr did?
I don’t understand why this has to be an issue. Just admit that staff is too lazy to actually punish the people who are in the wrong, and have instead decided to punish literally everyone. They’re are artist, sex workers, and content creators on this site who thrive off of being able to post adult content.
