tumblr cheering on kpop videos that have dance moves reminiscent of lesbian sex positions all the while i’m pretty sure the girls performing the dance had no say in whether they were comfortable doing that on stage or not and the song/dance/group was probably produced by straight men
the dilemma that i always have is non koreans actually going (possibly ironically) LGBT RIGHTS!! on kpop videos that are technically queerbaiting, made in a conservative homophobic women-hating country like korea hahaha i’m glad u got wet over a video of two korean girls dancing like their scissoring e/o all the way across the globe in america.
the problem could be that non koreans are unaware that kpop bands have 0 say in their artistic outlet, so they actually think these girls are dancing like that because they want to. kpop is fundamentally different from the western music industry because the singers have no input or say in any of their performances. at this point, however, i’m sure the people who both fervently love or hate kpop know how it works (they love it despite it all, or they hate it because of it)
if they’re aware of how the kpop industry works yet are still screaming I LIVE LGBT RIGHHHHHTS on kpop videos, ironically or not…. 1) you’re not really funny 2) u must like seeing women being exploited and forced into doing things that barely have their consent.

Children/teens aren’t allowed to be sad or in a bad mood because they can get yelled at for it and ridiculed and told to ‘change your attitude or I will for you’, while adults who are sad or in a bad mood, are allowed to yell at and take their frustration out on the kids. Adult privilege huh?
And when the adult is in a bad mood, it’s the kids job to step on eggshells in order to keep them from not exploding, and when they do, it’s on them.
And when the child is in the bad mood, it’s their job to try to hide it, and when they break apart trying to, it’s on them.
What extra sucks about this is that adults literally have more experience, context, perspective, and brain development to help them manage emotions. Adults who do this are shit. We are the adults, we should not be expecting kids who are still developing and learning about the world and trying to figure out their place in it to be the ones who are emotionally mature.
People who treat adulthood like a power trip are honestly shit and should not have authority over kids.
Don’t put a pad on boxers! It doesn’t work and makes a mess
To feel more masculine wear boxers over your //pad holding underwear//
Don’t beat yourself up, you are totally rad and cool, you’re body is doing something, but that’s okay, it’s not your fault and it doesn’t make you less valid!
If your cheast starts to hurt, don’t bind, some guys get tender breast tissue when it’s that time of the month, listen to your body, don’t push yourself!
Treat yourself to some chocolate!
Tea!!! It’s so good!!!! And green tea can help with cramps!
Advil! I use it when my cramps get bad, sometimes I get headaches and it helps with that too! Don’t take more than six though!
Go under warm blankets with nothing but your underwear on, preferably soft blankets, it makes me feel like I’m in a soft cacoon
Oversized sweatshirts! Always good! Especially for dysphoria!
Wear comfy cloths, always good to feel good
Eat warm soup, feels nice in the tum tum
Don’t eat super greasy foods, it can make your skin break you even more! And there are already so many hormones making your skin do crazy thing you don’t want it to get worse! Also it can make cramps worse
Most of all listen to your body, don’t push yourself, and try to forgive it, it’s confused and doesn’t know that it shouldn’t be doing what it’s doing
