I just learned that some websites use cookies to adjust prices. That is, if you visit a certain website a lot the price will increase.
You can tell if that’s the case by checking the same web page on a different browser if you have a different number of stored cookies for that site. I checked something on Chegg and it was $14.95 on Chrome, $19.95 on Firefox, and $16.95 on Safari.
The fix? Clear your cookies for that website.

Plane tickets almost always do this!
PLANE TICKETS DO THIS ALL THE DAMN TIME
When you’re looking for plane tickets and waiting for prices to drop, ALWAYS clear your cookies beforehand and switch between browsers. A friend of mine was looking for a flight and getting prices that were the CHEAPEST at $800-1000, I sent her a link for a round trip that was like $495, and it read as $900 on her computer because she had been hounding the airline site.
alternatively: avoid all this headache by using incognito when shopping for plane tickets, text books, etc
Hotel rooms are notorious for this, as well. Just like, go on incognito mode to look at these sites, saves u a lot of time & hassle.
pacific rim really went OFF with drift compatibility. like, there was absolutely no reason the jaegers couldn’t be piloted by a single person; a bunch of teenagers managed it just fine solo in evangelion, but guillermo del toro was like “nah, we’re gonna reinvent the concept of soulmates with mecha and kaiju” and then went and did just that, the absolute madman,

I’m sure this has already been talked about but im going to put my opinion + view out there anyway. so I’ve seen people refer to Scorpia as a butch, and normally those are the same people who make those usually transphobic or racist (depending on the person they’re talking about and the situation) comments like ‘omg I wish this chick would step on me or punch me’. and honestly, it feels like Scorpia is getting that sorta shitty treatment as well just bc she isn’t gender conforming or a ‘smol’ girl. just like how Zarya in overwatch got the whole ’she’s not conventionally attractive so she must be butch!’ sorta label pinned on her.
being butch isn’t about your body type or physical appearance. your hair cut doesn’t dictate if you’re butch or not. you can have long hair and be butch. you can have short hair and be femme. being butch is about not aligning with femininity. more often than not you can find a lot of lesbians who are butches and find a disconnect with womanhood. it’s why he/him lesbians are a thing. it’s also in part of stylistic choices and what a person is most comfortable with.
when we look at Scorpia, she normally wears her horde uniform. when she has a chance to dress otherwise, here is how she choses to represent herself:

as soon as she had the ability to wear something outside of her uniform, she picked super femme dresses. they include a lot of jewelry, skirts, and makeup. this was her choice. while we don’t necessarily have to label these things as ‘women only’, but you can’t deny the fact that when u look at femme history they tend to dress in a way that is associated by society as feminine because that’s what they like and are comfortable in.
this isnt a ‘DreamWorks doesn’t allow butches’ situation. we clearly see in the gif that Catra is 100% dressed in a suit and loose bowtie. dressed in- you guessed it, butch fashion! I really think the she-ra team did an amazing job with Scorpia by showing that you can be a high femme and wear makeup and dresses even if u don’t align with what society (read as: men) view how women should be. it shows us that you can embrace femininity and be beautiful without having to be the thin and perfect feminine women we usually see in media.
